Petals and Tentacles

I found this flower at a road side the other day. The colour didn't really makes it stands-out. However the tentacles sticking out of it makes it interesting. Don't they look like the bottom half of bean sprouts.

oh shoot! the flower is familiar but i can't remember the name!! they say that with age the first thing to go is memory..lol.. (what i can remember is that it doesn't smell good..haha..)

i like the soft color of the flower against the green background..the sprouts are nice too..great DOF..tnx for sharing..
