Default Macros and Such!

Hello DPS family! I got outside for awhile this afternoon and the Bees and Lady Bugs were waiting, so I played with them for awhile.

Just a Bee

I Wanna Hold Your? (I know it's a little soft, but I liked her pose)

I have a few more for tomorrow, I used my Sigma 105mm f/2.8 Macro for these, I hope you enjoy them.
Have a Blessed Day!
Michael.

Hello Michael, good morning from my part of the world, just dropping in to say, I like the treatment in the first shot of the bee on the flower. What sort of lighting did you use.

Hi Michael, I didn't do anything fancy, I used the Sigma 105mm with my Canon MT-24 Macro Twin Flash set at 1/8th Power. I did a little Lightroom Magic to adjust the exposure and add a little clarity slider. That's about it.
Thanks for the comments.

Once a lonely caterpillar sat and cried to a sympathetic beetle by his side
I've got nobody to hug I'm such an ug-i-ly bug
Then a spider and a dragonfly replied if you're serious and want to win a bride
Come along with us, to the glorious annual ugly bug ball

Excellent closeup work as always Michael.the 40D is working well, but not long now before you get the 7D on Monday, keep us posted

Every time I view your macro shots I am blown away with their detail and clarity. Not only do you capture such beauty your photos show the true texture of both flower and bug, bee, etc. Thanks for sharing these fantastic shots.

Wow Michael, I love your macro work. The lady beetle does it for me, she's wonderful. And waiting for a 7D I'm also envious. You must informs us how well the camera works.
