Default Newbie with a point and shoot....

Hey all, well this is my first post. I took these pictures today and just decided to go ahead and share. As you can tell by the pics, I'm obviously a newbie and still have a lot to learn. Also not getting my DSLR until next month. Well here ya go! *holds breath*

Well first let me welcome you to dps...I agree,if this is what you do with a point and shoot camera, then i know were in for some amazing photos in the future.

Welcome to DPS and these are marvelous captures. Point and Shoot or DSLR, these are well composed and presented. Your perspectives are very good, you obviously have done some study of composition and techniuque.

Ditto on what everyone previous to my reply said. You really do have a good eye for photography. The last one in this set really caught my eye. Can't wait to see more... and WELCOME to DPS... it's a great place to grow.

Great pictures! It really takes me to that place and to imagine its Lake Erie. Wonderful eye for the simple yet beautiful scenes this world has to offer.

I especially loved the composition and feel of the first and last ones.
