How to add thumnails to posts?

Just testing to see what happens when Thumbnail option is chosen in Flickr



Preview takes me to Flickr photostream - I guess as expected.

How do you add a thumbnail that opens on a black screen, as many do? Not through Flickr?

Cool pic too! Sorry though, I'm not much of a techie, I have no idea how to get the pic to open on a black screen. Hopefully someone smarter than me can help you with that.

You can add that thumbnail that opens on a black screen by using an attachment on the forums, but many of us much prefer the Flickr medium version so it's easy to see without waiting for more stuff to load (plus you don't have to compress the photo as much)

Under the pic you will see a link "view large" and this is a simple addition you can put in your description;

Once you are at either site, you can grab the bookmark and add it to your browser, once in your browser, and once you have an image in Flickr open, just click the bookmark and your image will be open full size.
