Default Lest We Forget

There is a Beautiful memorial in North Bay for local soldiers who fought in Wars from the Boer's war up until the Gulf War. Considering Wednesday is the 11th, I figure today would be a nice day to go out and snap some shots.

I'd love to hear your thoughts, opinions, and criticisms on the photos. I'll post a link to the rest as i'll only load 4 of them..

Cracking shots. I like the first - the poignancy of the fallen leaves alongside the names of the fallen heroes struck me immediately. And the negative space in the 2nd is very compelling.

Lovely images & a lovely sentiment, there have been far too many young lives lost over the years fighting the politicians wars!
I too love the first, the leaves really add to the sentiment of life ebbing away!
Thanks for sharing these.
