Default Attempting manual settings

Right after my night course in photography I headed down to the lake to see if I could take some pictures using what I was taught that night. Not too clear but was happy with the fact that I did not use the old "auto: setting.

That's fun! I can just see you running down to the lake after class! Very cute. Great images with your new-found knowledge though. I always love putting new information into practice too.

Nice. I am not completely brave enough to go completely manual, but it's fun to 'take the plunge' every so often. Good job.

Good for you for stepping out into manual mode!

For the photos I take (90% dark settings) manual is THE way to go. Your shots really capture things nicely! I don't have recommendations based upon what you showed - they looked good to me! - but was there something you were attempting and not happy with where we could give you advice? I loved how sharp your foreground was with the mistiness in the background.

Nice shots, you should really attempt to shot in manual 99% of the time. You will find your shots get better the more you shot. It really is not that bad. These 2 turned out pretty good.

Manual's the way to go. But I like "A" mode as well.
