Thanks for all the kind comments. As to what it was if I use the term correctly it was bokeh. I shot some street lights thru my window with the focal point about two and half feet in front of the lens. The street lights are fourteen floors below me. The effect of shooting thru the screeen can also be seen in the photo. The rest was all done in Photoshop Elements via a distortion called Polar Coordinates. The lens used was a Nikon 50mm 1.4.
