Sheesh, this guy had a bulging portlio and we could all devote a dozen threads to Steve's wonderful style and his wonderful ability to evoke deep feelings in his images

this one stands out for me, it was around the whole abandoned boats in the marsh era that I began to realize just how much of the magic Beachcomber had in him.. and he continues to hit home runs

To me, this is near perfection

And this simple Photo by David has done more for me when I am out shooting then any other ... it's simple, in plain view and I would have just walk right past it.

I still think of this photo all the time and remind myself to look , cause I never know what will see.

there are sooo many more who've motivated me and inspired me, but i wanted to just chose the most important two .

great idea for a thread !!

thanks vinam

Thumbs up

The most unboring shot for me are:-

I have to say this one from purple007's http://digital-photography-school.co...rks-woods.html.

and Ruthie's http://digital-photography-school.co...very-cute.html. Actually I love the whole set.

the shot took my breath away and to this day is one of my faves ive ever seen
but there is soooooo many here that its impossible to pick only two.
Oh, eNZee, thank you SO much!!! Reading through this thread and seeing so many of Ruthie's photos being posted...then to have one of my photos mentioned...now I'm the one near tears, LOL! I hope it's okay to post one of my own here, but since eNZee wasn't sure how to get it to post, I thought it might be okay to just post a link:

Most of Ruthie's work I could post in this thread, LOL! But Beach already posted my absolute favorite - the one of the balloons. Speaking of Beach...so many of his, as well. And then there's Lindy....Vin's swans....I may have to go through Flickr and see if I can narrow it down to only a couple that have stuck with me!

Again, eNZee...what an amazing compliment, thank you.

One of my favorites from beachcomber:

sun set

From ana.gr - this is just so surreal and beautiful:

thoughts of infinity

From candleman - sheer brilliance!

Chuck Norris Eyedrops - 12/52

And the first one that made me fall in love with Ruthie's work (don't know how to post from her Flickr here):

04942 on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

I could go on and on and on.....
