Default shots from an afternoon drive

This is a steeple off of a church in downtown Versailles, KY

Don't see bright red doors much around here but they sure do pop off the landscape

A vertical shot too

At some point, I'd like to go back to this place.....this particular building is part of the Old Crow distillery, next to the Old Taylor Distillery....You can google these to read up on the history. Old Taylor was built in 1887 and was in their prime from 1932 to 1972. Jim Beam still used one of their warehouses until about 10 years ago...It is now very much like a ghost town.....At the time, a ton of money went into building this place.....Totally new discovery for me......didn't know it was there......was driving down roads not too sure where I was except that I was going in a general direction.....ended up in Frankfort....the capital city about 30 miles from home.......

Great shots, Patrick! That's the reddest red I've ever seen! BTW...I'm in NoCal right now, so I actually have seen first hand the fall colors! I'll have some to throw in the mix tonight!! Thanks for sharing.

Looking forward to your shots...I used to live in San Jose and have fished the American River in Sacramento with some vietnamese immigrants way back when I was 13 or 14

Another good set Patrick but for me it's the last one. A great series of buildings with such opportunities and I'd love you to go back there and get more pictures.

What a beautiful drive you had! I love the bright blue sky in the church shot - and the pastel color effects in the windows up top are lovely. And I love the colors in the barn shots, I'm a huge fan of farms, and especially love the red barns dotted around the countryside in the US. Gorgeous reflections too. The old distillery building is very cool too.

All awesome shots but the barn is my fav! I love taking random drives! So much fun to just get "lost"!
