I could not decide if I liked the color or the black and white. so i saved both

I believe that I prefer the color shot......more readily apparent what it is

I love both of them, Michelle, each for their own reasons. The contrast in the bw is stellar! The color family in the last looks amazing. I love the related reds and oranges, broken up by the white of the stem. Very cool. If I had to pick one, it would be the b/w for it's stark contrast, and almost glowing presence.

Both are good. I am not going to be much help here because I like both equally. Nice shot though.

I love the colours in the, erm, colour version! I would normally prefer B/W for this sort of shot, and that version is beautiful, but the colour just adds to it...

Definitely the color shot. The color is what gave its identity away. It's a common Rosy Russula which is inedible BTW.
