Default Mawdsley Misty Railway

I was looking through some pics I took end of last year that I hadn't even looked after copying to my PC. It was a very misty day, so thought a a B&W conversion with a little D&B could make this look better... Here's my effort...

That's a cracking B&W! I really love how your eye is drawn straight along the track, but then the scene just disappears in the mist. Brilliant.

hey! havent seen you in the board lately..this is a great shot..i love the perspective of the railway and the mist beyond it..good choice on the B&W..it gave a different mood on this one..begs the question whether someone is leaving or arriving aboard the train..tnx for sharing..

B&W is definitely the right treatment for this one. The perspective of the tracks disappearing into the mist is excellent! Well done.

Nice shot, like how the tracks lead you deeper into the shot, good work.

Black and white is perfect for this extremely atmospheric picture Chiwalatta, good contrast, strong lines, good focal point disappearing in to the mist, you might consider getting get back on that computer to find some more like this excellent example, good job
