Default November Skies

I took these photographs from my garden, just before dark. I have not really altered them at all, other than adding a little light or colour where needed. Any advise critical or otherwise, to improve post production, would be warmly welcome.

Shot on Nikon D60 at f5.6 at 1/30th second, with ISO set to 800

These are gorgeous and unususal Footski. I have never seen cloud formations like these, especially like the 3rd shot. Are these normal there?

Sorry that this we missed this post before. Sometimes the threads just drift away too fast.

Thanks for the nice comments. Skies like these, whilst not common, do occur on bright, very windy days in Autumn or Spring. I was lucky to spot them when I did as within a couple of minutes the sun had faded and the effects had gone. Now has anyone got an idea how I can improve the images?

Maybe cropping to remove some distractions or stuff that does not contribute to the image.

Psssttt.... the mod might be watching and move this thread to the critique section...
