Default Pano at Mt.Rainier National Park

Just below Chinook Pass, which is about 5100 feet elevation, there is a mountain meadow with a lake.

This is Tipsoo Lake in the foreground. In the background, you can see WA-410 climbing the side of the hill toward the pass. Click on the photo if you'd like to get to the larger version.



4-shot panorama, tripod mounted, stitched in Autostitch, tweaked a bit in Photoshop CS2.

That pano is impressive at the original size. Looks like beautiful place to be. Thankfully we don't have snow yet but I'm sure its on it way soon. I need to give a pano a whirl but haven't thought up a good subject yet. Our prairie fields in spring bloom would likely be a good one to try.
