Default Do you see what I see ??

Michelle and I made a trek to Yosemite a couple of weeks ago, while taking a million photos, I looked up to see this...

Sunset on Rock face

I thought this looked so much like a face on the top of this mountain, what do you think ?
In this shot it is bathed in the glow of the sunset. There is another shot of this on my flickr
in daylight too.
We also got to watch some folks rock climbing, not easy to see, we had to search and search to find them. See how many you can find here...its easier to see in large.

Rock climbing

We were surrounded by Fall colors everywhere we turned, it was so spectacular. Here are a couple of shots down by the riverbank.

Fall in Yosemite

Roots

Hope you all enjoyed your brief adventure to Yosemite. There are many more images on my Flickr. Thank you.

Deb, I did enjoy this brief adventure, except for the fact that it's a little too brief. I hope you're planning on posting more later. Love all of these and hope to get to Yosemite one of these days before I'm too old to enjoy it. I don't think I'm going to be scaling any of those cliffs, though.

I was thinking the exact thing as Leona, an old indian face. Good spotting with the rock climbers, there is NOOOOO way you would get me to climb that high, it makes my knees shake just looking at your photo. Love the fall shots.

I see two face images on that mountain. The one on top, and one on the side with the large dark crevace as the eye, and the vertical line being the nose...

These are great pictures and I make no apologies for singling out the second one for further comment. Pictures should invoke emotion, and watching people climb up verticle sheets of rock does it for me, what amazing skills they have, and well done you toyvlle for capturing the vastness of the scene with the addtion of the climbers adding scale to the image, good job

I still have images of that day dancing around in my head! It is such a gorgeous place on Earth and it was a perfect day to be there. I had a great time and I love your face on the top of the mountain. It was fun to watch the people climbing on the mountains side. Crazy people for sure, especially since they were sleeping there, on the side, for the night. It was also amazing to see those tree roots so exposed from the beach washing away and to still have these huge tall trees standing. Did not look possible.
I look very forward to going back in the winter when there is snow! It will be a real winter wonderland for sure!

Hi Deb, I love your images of Yosemite. It's such a wonderful place to visit. I see the man in the mountain and did I count 4 or 5 climbers? Beautiful images no matter what the count. Great shooting!
