The first looks very mysterious! Could be waiting for 007! Nice contrast of the red and neutral colors!

Very nice. I prefer the second one, but I think both of them would look better if she were looking into more open space. Still some very nice shots!

I like these shots very much. Just the perfect lighting, if you ask me. Great job.

Thanks for the feedback. By "more open space" do you mean that you'd prefer there to be more image on camera left so the frame captures more of where she is looking? I think I might try to take a look at that. I don't remember exactly, but I don't think I had enough frame to do it, but I was so in love with the shadow that I decided to live with the tension created by having her in the left third of the image. It almost makes the shadow a second subject, I think. Sometimes I see tension that works, sometimes not. This is an example of one that I like:

But I think this pic works better because the source of tension is different (not seeing the whole face) and is balanced by most of the frame capturing where she is looking (which I've assumed is your criticism of the posted images). I agree that it doesn't work quite as well (for me, anyway) in the posted pics. Thanks again for the feedback.

Great shots, Dana. I love the shadow you composed in the first one. Very simple and elegant. I'm torn, because the tall shadow in the last also has a tremendous amount of character! Thanks for sharing.
