I love fall and the colours

Its been a bit chilly but still i had to get out and get some fall photos at the park...i think this is such a pretty time of the year.



i was looking over the rail on the deck down at the lake and caught the reflection of the weeping willow in the water...it reminded me of an underwater scene so i added the fish for fun.

Look out for the shark!!! I like your third the best. It's an excellent abstract and the colors are magnificent.

Those are are really nice. I agree with Mike, I like the third one the best, but it sure looks like you had fun with the fish!

Nice capture of all the fall colors, Lorraine! You guys are making me jealous with all this color! What are going to shoot after all the leaves are gone??? Sounds like a song, doesn't it?

These are just beautiful. You have a wonderful gift for all things whimsical--always smile producing. Your duck and the leafy reflections in the water are just wonderful. There's an abstract painting floating on the surface of the lake. Your last photo exudes a kind of peace.

Thank you Mike..you know i wasnt sure about the third one but i liked the colours of the leaves reflected in the water.

thank you Martha...i wasnt sure what everyone would think of the third one but there was an oil painting or water colour look to it with all the coloured leaves...im glad you see what i see in it

I guess once the leaves are one it will be the snow and ice photos again...we all seem to follow a pattern...I have to say its hard to find something different to take around here when its not a big city...so hardly any big buildings..mainly corn fields and farms. I suppose that means i need to open my eyes more and find something new
