Default Wall South Dakota

When my son and I were traveling this Summer, we came across this town called Wall, South Dakota. I think the whole town is pretty much nothing more than one big tourist trap. Well that might be going a little to far, but I believe its primary industry is devoted to tourisim. That was my thinking until I saw this, I'm not even sure what it is but it seemed interesting.

Default Ahhh, those prairie skyscrapers

We out here on the Northern Plains know them as grain elevators, the first stop for grain on the way to a finished produce sold in a store near you.
I've attached here (I hope) two examples of the same elevator as examples of "Hey! Turn around! Look what's behind you!) I shot the silhouette against the dark clouds and then turned around to see the rainbow. So, I moved around to get the grain elevators in position.

That's a nice shot, Tim. I like the b/w treatment, as well as the vignetting you added. Thanks for sharing!

Ahhhhhh thank you good Sir. I was guessing it had "something" to do with grain but I didn't want to display my true ignorance on the subject.

Thank you Jim! I've been on a b/w kick recently and have been experimenting quite a bit. As I take photos today, I have been attempting to "see" them in b/w as best I can. I've done a few other things which I will attempt to post later today. Thanks again!

That is a really cool shot. I've never seen those things as cool or pretty, but you managed to prove me wrong. Very wrong!
