Thanks FoG, i agree third one needs quite some work done on it, i know what is problem now, i should have shot them in manual so that exposure did not change frame to frame. But that was my first time.. so excused myself

Beautiful panoramas! And the Rockies are a beautiful source for them.

I recommend using PhotoShop Elements (only cost about $80 USD) for the easiest panoramas with great blending features for panoramas.

Thumbs up

Awesome shot and a great job on the pano. I haven't been back out west in about 11 years but it sure makes me miss the mountains.

One hint / tip. When you know you are going to shoot a pano series, get your meter reading, then put your camera in manual, set to your meter readings and don't change from frame to frame. this will help keep color / temperature balance, even as the clouds move across your lighting.

Excellent job.

Thanks Rob for your comment and suggestion, i realized that after coming back from the trip, i used either Program or Aperture priority which changed the exposure frame to frame... i managed to make some corrections in the first 2 but i was really sleepy when i was working on the third..so i left it as it is..

You got it absolutely right, as i said using auto settings created some flaws in the panos.. but i'm ok for as its my first. I'll try doing better job next time.

Nice panny's AC! The variations in colour may be due to changes in exposure. Were you on Aperture Prioity? I remember shooting some panoramas at Joffre Lake, and I used shutter priority. Well the exposure of each shot shifted slightly and exhibited the same result that you have in the second and third one. Great scenes, though, and i would love to go there to shoot the same thing! Good luck on these, and thanks for sharing.
