Wow i would love to take pics underwater. This is such a cool pic with awesome colors! I see the living rock, and a fish and a... oh, what are they called?... the spiky things ha ha i can't remember... oh well it's a very cool shot! Kimi

Lots of underwater I see are all blue and washed out.... this is not.

The deeper you go, the more light is absorbed, starting at the red end of the spectrum then working its way down to the blue end,

This a very nice. Brings me back to when I had a marine aquarium. Very beautiful.

A nice clear shot, missing all the blue-cast that my u/w photos always had.

Could you share your gear details and exif? - is this a compact with an u/w setting?

Sorry, have been away for a while.

EXIF:

Sealife DC1000 1/138 at f/3.5 using the camera's "underwater blue ocean below 25 feet" setting to recover reds and yellows. ISO 64. PP in Nikon's Capture NX and in Photoshop (noise removal by Nik Define 2.0)
