Default playing with DOF and very minor PP

It was a brilliantly blue late afternoon sky at 4:30pm when I took my lunch break and so I headed to the traveling trail. We are beginning the great brown out so there wasn't much to shoot so I played around with some dof on the dandelion....seemed to be the last one in the field so I lay flat on the ground and ripped a few shots. The last two were really nothing more than darkening the shot and bumping the contrast a bit......but it gave them a different look

Hi Patrick. I like these shots, but my fav has to go to the second one and the last one. A composition thing for me, and the lighting and bokeh is fantastic. TFS.

Thanks Paul......I liked the lighting as well......It was bright but that can lead to some neat shots later with some minor pp

I have to agree #2 and #4 are also the winners for me. Isn't is fun to play and learn new things? Looks like you are having some fun!

Gorgeous! You are always so creative. I can just picture you lying on the ground on your dandelion mission! The DOF effect & composition of the first 2 are wonderful. And I love the last 2 for their awesome contrast.
