Default Nikki Sue Nikon gets some new Bling

What can I say....a girl's gotta have her bling. Nikki Sue Nikon's been feeling a little blue lately, and I thought some new bling would make her feel all perky, so I got her a new Sigma 105mm f2.8 Macro. Now, like any girl would, she'd like to show it off.

A few raindrops....

Some sparklies....

And one more for good measure...

Nikki Sue's very happy. I think we're going to have a good time accessorizing.

I can see why Nikki Sue is happy... these are wonderful. I like the "sparklies" in the second shot... Nice! Thanks for sharing.

Oh this is going to get good! Wow, Mike these are all terrific. I'm a sucker for grass, so I especially like that one. So simple and beautifully detailed. There's a nice feel...I can't quite put my finger on it...to all of them. Kinda like coming home and finding someone left a light on.

Hey Mike. I remember reading that your creativity was feeling a bit stilted lately. Well, it does not show one bit. These are amazing, and make me want to go out and get a macro lens as well! But, I think I need a wide angle lens first, and then a better zoom. I have been looking at the Sigma 50-500 (aka the "Bigma"). That lens is getting some really great reviews, especially given the price, which is just over a grand. Thank you so much for sharing these. I think the close up of the bee is my fav here. Unbelievable detail, and the catch-lights in the eyes! I don't think I have ever seen that. Cheers!

This is gorgeous. I love the 2nd and 3rd.
I recognize the flower in your 1st shot. I have no idea the English or proper name, but here, my people calls it 'bunga taik ayam', which translates to 'chicken poo flower'. lol

Nice shots Mike...I am interested in seeing alot more of what you shoot...I am interested in picking one of these up some day but we'll see. My uncle is handing me down an old model Nikkor 60 mm macro lens and I am interested to see what it can do...might be ok for some things but probably not bugs due to the close proximity of the lens to the subject.....
