It’s been 6 months since I got my DSLR and found DPS, become DPS forum member, made some new friends, see the world through other people’s lens and learned a great deal about photography. Today, I finally reached my 500th post.
So, here’s the ‘4 things I love about photography’ to share for this 500th post (Had to limit to only 4 due to the forum rules). Hope you guys like them:- 1. Taking pictures of floras and faunas. Flowers, leaves, animals, you name it. I love taking their pictures. ![]() I have no idea what this flower is called. It does look like a morning glory. I think, we should have our own flower experts. 2. Macro photography Macros let me see things from a totally alien perspectives. ![]() This leaf have dews on it, thus the reflections. I'm having a hard time deciding whether it's in focus, is it not? 3. Landscapes (Esp. Sunsets) Everybody love landscapes, especially sunsets. ![]() I arrived here quite late due to heavy traffic on the way and missed the sun. Just after a few minutes here, it started to rain. From the clouds, I think it’s pouring on the other side of that hill also. 4. My Fiancée LOL... Yes guys... It's not portraits photography. I can't quite get the hang of portraits just yet. ![]() This is my fiancée, Zue. She’s there when I bought my DSLR and she’s always there with me whenever and wherever I go photographing. Hi Sparda. All of these are great shots. It looks like the tip of the second plant is in focus, and the third shot is to die for! Beautiful scene and nice framing with the palm fronds. Your fiance is a very beautiful girl, and has a great smile. You are lucky that she supports this habit (photography) as my wife is always concerned that I am going to buy more gear! Take care.

Sparda, Congratulations. I'm really surprised to read that you have only had your DSLR six months. Wow, are you a fast learner. I've very much enjoyed all the images you have posted. I especially like the one of your bride-to-be, Zue. She's a beauty. Sparda, you have also left me some very kind and encouraging words. I do thank you very much. I look forward to 500 more.
