awesomeee. This is exactly what I want to do. What kind of rig did you make? Did you use a flash or anything. How did you get it to fade from shadow into the car? very nice

I used a custom set up for this:

example mounted on my car.

2x 5' aluminum poles custom threaded with 2x industrial suction cups, manfrotto clamps and a manfrotto magic arm. :]

No flashes, I just played with the warehouse lights. Turned off all the lights except the lights 5m directly in front of the car.

Well that is awesome. Good post processing. I love the textured walls, I really wish i had the skill to get these results. This might be weird for this but wondering if you could post a before shot. or do a tutorial/ Before and After. I want to achieve similar tones. Also, my cars are black and bright red, so it might be a little different but good to know how you achieve those tones

Heres a few before and afters.

Basically, most of the work is removing the rig.
Everything else is playing around with curves and levels.
A blue softlight layer was added to make the overall picture blue.

Similarly, only curves and levels was used here.
Again, a blue softlight later was added to cool the picture.

The last image was done using HDR tone mapping.
Using my Tokina 11-16mm
Shot at 11mm f/6.3
6 seconds, 1.6 seconds, 25 seconds. Then curves and levels were applied to get the final result!
