Default Beach stray

Brilliant sunshine and burning sands did not deter this cute, curios interloper on the beach. He was also fascinated by my camera as he diligently hopped all over the place hoping for a stray crumb. His dark brown feathers stood out so nicely against the lighter sand.

Barb! Hello! So nice to see your name and, of course, to see your brilliant wildlife photos. This little one is so fun to look at. I like that just a little plump. He's so alert, too. Wonderful detail on his feathers, but then with you, that is always the case. Just lovely.
