Default Rain! We need it.

I took my camera for a walk the other day. I had some plans, but then the wind picked up and a few big drops of rain started to fall. I took shelter in a gazebo in the local park. Plans abandoned, here's what I got.

Might have to lose the 'No Right Turn' sign

Me too Kirsten, that's why I ended up in the gazebo!

I like that first shot, it looks like more than a few big drops there. And at least not all was lost, you managed to get a couple good shots.

Yes, the "few big drops" were just the start of it. Thanks for your comments.

I like the first shot especially....we always need rain here, so I can identify with that.

I really like the second one. That really gave a good feel of how the day turned out.

This young lady and her friend originally took shelter in a different structure down the track a bit. Then the must have decided, "The heck with it!" and went out in the middle of the football oval and splashed around. She does look a bit down in the shot, but she was splashing away like anything.

Thanks for your comments.

I like both shots for different reasons. The first one captures the drama, the second one - to me - is about the melancholy of a rainy day... Anyhow, you got the best out of it! TFS
