Default Today's photo excursion.

Went to visit my uncle and got these shots while we were in the Lansing, Eaton Rapids and Jackson, Michigan areas. It was a good day to go exploring.

The Dam at the Lansing Fish Ladder

Lady Bug Shadow on my uncle's 1855 era house.

Spider on the railing at the Lansing fish ladder

Remains of an abandoned farm house in Jackson, Mi.

All great shots, but I must say that last one says so much to me...it's amazing.

Thanks! That abandoned house is one of my favorites from today. It had some really cool old hardware on the windows and doors. I'll post shots of those tomorrow so I'm in compliance with the rules.

I'm really interested in taking flowing water shots so they look fluid, but I'm still trying to work that out. I'm thinking of either buying or making myself some cheatsheets to remember all the settings for different situations.

I agree with Leona and Windrider, I love the last shot, it is wonderful. You did a great job on all the shots.
A cheat sheet, Huh, I could certainly benefit from one myself, LOL. Thanks for sharing, looking forward to seeing more tomorrow.
