Default There is always something to photograph

Just to show that you can always find something to photograph - and to appreciate the small things. I took those few pics while my husband and son were fishing. I'm not really interested in fishing, so I wandered up the beach with my camera - it gives me time to myself.

I particularly like the photo of the single rock and the little sand tracks - a life unseen but as important as our own in the greater picture of life.

Very nice, Jill. Simple, yet profound.

These are fantastic shots Jill. You sound just like me... not that interested in fishing so a-wanderin' we will go (with the camera of course!). Such simple photos, but they certainly do pack a punch. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Jill
The photographs are amazing. I am no pro, but I would like to say that in the last pic, of the crab, the background seems to be more or less the same as the subject, making it difficult to focus your eyes in the subject, but i love the natural affect that you give to your pictures!

Hello Jill, these are such simple, but powerful images. The are very thought provoking. I really them all and I get the point you were trying to get across.

wow thanks everyone. I didn't expect such great comments for these very simple photos. Obviously showing that sometimes less is more!

Yes you are right kubog423 it is hard to see the crab against the background of sand. Ghost crabs are basically white. I cropped and then upped the colour in the sand a bit on this one in Photoshop otherwise the whole thing was a bit washed out. He was a really tiny crab so I was pleased to get him at all.

The crab one was the only pic out of the 4 that I fiddled with - otherwise straight out of camera. Thanks everyone for looking and commenting.
