This little guy goes by the name of "Red Browed Finch" but I have also seen them referred to as a Firetail - which is much more exciting!
I spent a long day walking around Sydney Olympic Park today and I knew at the time I took this shot that it would be the pick of the day. Alas I was right, so I thought I would share it with the DPS crew Hope you enjoy it. I'm getting quite into bird photography now... If only I knew the slightest thing about birds...

What a beauty little guy he is. You have captured him well with great dof and detail. I find birds of any size are the hardest things to photograph, You have done extremely well.
