Default My first go at sport photography...water skiing

Today we spent an enjoyable day watching and taking photos of the Hamilton Bridge to Bridge ski racing. It was tricky with the timing they sped by so fast. These are some of the best I got out of 861 shots.

Ski racers

Water skier

Ski boat

This duck decided to high-tail it when the skiers and boats got a little too close for comfort.

Duck

Thanks for looking.

Your first attempt isn't bad at all, they're nice shots Angela. The duck wasn't competing, was he?

Very well done for a first time. They're all really good examples of "freezing" a moment in time. I especially like the third one... they're so close to being out of the water.
