Default Per Member Request: Dead B/W Tree hi-contrast

I posted some pics of a magnificent dead tree in b/w last night. Several members requested more, more, more. So, I went back out there with my 14mm so you could see the whole tree. Here you go! Check out the larger sizes. Pretty cool! Thanks very much for looking!

Gorgeous - looks a little infrared. Did you do anything besides a simple conversion? I will have to take a look at last night's post. I missed it

Just b/w conversion in PS Elements, boost of contrast, increased and decreased reds and blues to get this. Then imported to lightroom and adjusted the exposure down at the bottome and increased at the top. Turned out pretty cool, I thought.

Hi Jim, I like these much better than the crops. Even the Moon adds to this one. Very nice!
Thanks for sharing these
Michael.

Love the moon shot. Did you add the moon in PP? Great anyway.

Thanks for looking everyone! To give you some idea how big this tree is, the base is about 10 feet across! Here's a shot of my son standing next to it (bottom left). Thanks again!

Wow, that's what you call a tree. I almost missed your son!
