I love going to country show, craft shows, farmers markets etc and usually snap away and everything and anything.

Just my luck to see in our town newspaper this competition:

Everyone knows that Hampshire has some of the finest food in the country – if not the world.

The Hampshire Fare Directory has become the bible for foodies looking to find out where they can obtain the very best in food and service from our wonderful county.

Now you have the chance to take part in next year’s Hampshire Fare Directory by producing the photograph that may go on its front cover.

What’s more, the talented winner of our Hampshire Fare Directory photo competition will be certain to win a fabulous Hampshire Fare food hamper – just the thing in time for Christmas!

All you have to do is to send us your best image of what you believe depicts the very essence of Hampshire food.

It can be on any subject – but Hampshire food has to be the central theme.

Take a look at some of the images that have been used before for inspiration, but the choice of what to feature is up to you.

The competition is open to all ages and all abilities, however if your image is chosen you will have to give permission for it to be used free of charge as the cover photo for the Directory and for any other promotional material used by hampshire Fare and in the Daily Echo and its sister publications.

A panel of expert judges will choose the final winners and runners up, who will also receive Hampshire fare goodies.
