Default Buildings, Reflections, Gargoyles, and A Guy Hanging Around

This is from the set that I took off of the roof of the Georgia Hotel, in downtown Vancouver. You may want to look at the large version of "Hanging Around" to really get the idea of scale etc. The building columns in that shot are from the Hudson's Bay Department Store. The mountains in that shot are from a mural made up of very large "canvases" hung between the columns of the building. I thought it was a cool shot, but let me know what you think.

Vancouver Public Library: This building's design (in the background) was based on the roman coliseum.

Cloud Reflections: Cloud pattern abstract in building reflection.

Gargoyles: A detail of the Hotel Vancouver

Hanging Around: I thought this looked like the guy on the rope was an urban mountain climber!

Thanks Jennie. My friend spotted the guy on the rope before I did, and I wished i would have got an earlier shot befor he sort of blended in with the mural a bit. Take care.

Cool photos! I had to look twice for the guy on the rope, he was nicely camouflaged. Fun thread title too.

Paul, this is an interesting set of shots. My personal favorite happens to be the library framed by the other buildings, though the guy on the rope is really cool. TFS, I've enjoyed them!
