Default Halloween Portrait

This is my daughter's Halloween costume the "Gothic Fire Fairy"

Camera: Nikon D60
Exposure: 0.017 sec (1/60)
Aperture: f/10.0
Focal Length: 34 mm
Focal Length: 34.6 mm
ISO Speed: 200
LumoPro LP120 high camera left, snooted, optical slave mode, 1/4 power; vivitar 2800 behind subject, Cactus v4 trigger.

The biggest challenge for me was getting the background dark enough--there's no back drop, just a darkened living room behind her.
I think this is my first attempt at using a separation light. Thoughts or suggestions welcomed.
Thanks for looking.

I've not gotten into portraits yet, so I don't think I can give any advice on that. However, I do think you did a great job with this. I really like it!

Thanks. She wanted dramatic, keeping with the Goth concept.

The best compliment came when she said "I'm totally gonna make that my Facebook profile pic."
