Default Varrrrrroooooom!

A friend of mine asked me to shoot his bike. I thought I would share a couple of the resulting images.

When asked, my friend said the rear view was the part of his bike he liked best. I employed a mini tripod to get close to ground level.

I wanted to shoot into the setting sun. The following two images are of separate dates and locations. Both used flash to illuminate the foreground.

Thanks for looking! Happy shooting.

The last one looks amazing! Nice work overall. I'd probably get into trouble on a 'busa like that.

These are awsome shots. Biking is my first passion. I have tourers, but a couple of my friends have Hyabusa's. They are monsters. They will red line in first gear at 90 MPH. Thanks for these. God bless. PAUL

That last one looks like it could be in a bike magazine! Nice work.

Awesome machine, & amazing photos you have presented so well. I a few years ago was a biker, & so very nearly got back into riding when I fancied a busa, reckon my life expectancy would be rather shortened though, now its an R1 that is calling me!

Great shots that make me shudder with excitment.
Thanks for showing us.

I can't ask for more than that!

Thank you UK. All the best on the resistance.

Thanks, we waited nearly a week between the first series and the last sunset shots. There were just enough clouds to make it interesting. Thanks again.

Thanks Mike! I worked over the clouds in post to bring out and deepen the colors. Fill flash works wonders in a sunset portrait. You should try it.

Thank you! The funny thing is the guy that owns this bike is very level and down to earth. Honest, when he first approached me about this shoot. I figured him for a laid back Harley rider. Ninja bikes never crossed my mind. Imagine my surprise when he came riding up on his 'busa! Thanks again.

Unfortunately, I needed to sell my motorcycle before the advent of the crotch rocket. However, my first motorcycle was a 1970 Kawasaki 500, the fastest production motorcycle made at the time. It sold for $999.00 and was the crotch rocket of its day. What a great ride! You last one is my favorite, love the bike in front of the field. Great job!
