My dad recently had a stay in hospital (hes fine now) but while there I snapped this shot on my iphone.
This sculpture is at the front door of the North Shore Hospital in Auckland.
A bit odd I thought

That is a bit strange...do the hands have some significance?

there was a plaque that explained it, but i forgot what it said... something like helping hands to help all those in need. They are terracotta replicas of the artists hand.

wierd sculpture, reminds me of the terracotta army in china.
