They remind me of the old tv tubes we used to have...seems my Dad was constantly changing them...lol

I love this! Even more for knowing what it is. But one of my current goals in life is to acquire a melodica so I can dissect it.

Interesting that they still make vacuum tubes! Nice shot...the b/w is very cool considering the vintage!

Most professional guitarists still use tube amps. Nothing equals the sound. They are still made overseas, Japan, Slovakia, Russia... etc. Not exactly cheap though haha. The one in the center is a vintage made in the USA GE, while the other two are new productions from JJ electronic in Slovakia.
