Default Practice close up shots of flowers.

I'm still really new to photography so I'd be very greatful of any comments, positive or negative. They'll all help me improve

Now they weren't taken on the South Shields coastline! Nice depth of field.

I'm not sure what flowers either of them are. They were just in a vase at my parents house and I thought I'd take a few pics. If anyone knows for sure I'd be interested to know myself.

The closeups are good. If you're really looking for some constructive criticism for improvement, you should post this in the "Critique My Shot Section" forum instead.
