Headed down Main Street, I spied a fine looking HD motorcycle, and recognized it as my son's. I whipped a u-turn and there at Hardees, under the disappearing daylight of evening, but with the added red light of the Hardee's sign, I turned the parking lot in to a studio to shoot his Harley-Davidson Fat Boy.
I tweaked it a bit when I got home with Photoshop CS3. I chose this angle because it is not only unusual, but also creates a sense of power and size of the motorcycle. Eliminating all but the bike and the sky in the composition was to trap the viewer's attention, first to the pipes, the rear fender then to the front of the bike. Did it work? That's a really cool bike. And the photo is outstanding. Nice "studio" work. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks! First image posted here. Just met Darren in Las Vegas and thus, checked out his site. What excited me about this image was how little tweaking it took to stylize it as it is. My son likes it, too!

You have a great shot here, I find photographing motorcycles difficult, you did a outstand job. Thanks for sharing, and welcome to DPS.
