For Cloud Lovers

This was right out my back door. I was checking my camera for dust spots before i did a sensor cleaning. (there was a ton!!)


while driving around with my friend just started taking shots of the sky



Again, just driving around. seems to be when I get my best shots.

Great! I love clouds. Loved the sun's starburst effect in the first.

i like the 3rd on the best, i tried some different stuff with the first one. I have horizontal pics as well where i added some lens flare, but I liked the vertical shot best

Hi Mnaff. I like the selection, but the first one and the last one really got my attention, especially the first one. I think it is the wider shot, and being able to see more clouds and variation among the different ones. The lighting is also very strong in the first one (no blown out areas), and the sunburst in the upper right corner was the icing on the cake for me. TFS.

I loved the way the clouds were that day, they looked right for a photo and i needed the check the camera anyway lol

i came here and leanred about the rule of 3rds just a few days ago. and now it makes sense. in a lot of pictures i take where the rule is in effect. like the first shot. i love the picture, but then i again there are cases (shot #3) where i love the way it looks even when the rule doesn't really apply.
