Default Niagara Falls : Tilt-Shift

Last year, we went to Niagara Falls to enjoy the view.

Post-processed some of the shots and applied a tilt-shift effect on 'em.

It's hard to believe that, from that distance, you'd have such a shallow depth of field.

Something just doesn't look right. It's like it is a miniature-scale town. Maybe it's just the post-processing you did.

Correct.

It's the whole nature of the tilt-shift effect I applied through post-processing.

The intended effect is to make the scene look like it was a scale model.

Shows how much I know about it. I guess I'll have to do a little reading up on that...

Thanks for sharing!

I'll have to do some reading on that also. Great effect you've got there, if I didn't know I would swear it was a scale model.

Thanks for all the comments, folks.

A quick Wiki search yielded the following :
Tilt-shift photography - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It's a quick read, but should give enough background information on the subject.
