Default leaves for Jennie from the ridge trail

While we were at the Gorge, I put the 18-55 mm lens on the camera and a polarizer and headed off, leaving everything else including the bag in the car. So I was a bit limited when I came upon these leaves. I don't regret not taking the other lenses but It would have been nice to have done some detail work on some of these leaves.......Hope you enjoy these...tomorrow, we head down to the bottom of the gorge and explore a different trail and different scenery

Very nice shots, Patrick! No regrets! Look at the tag line at the end of my signature block! These are great shots. That polarizer really drew out the colors! Thanks for sharing.

Jim

PS...do you still have that African chess set?

Nice Patrick, I love the composition in the 1st one and the colors in all are just great. I like the idea of taking one lens, I do it sometimes, it makes you work with the lens and I think it makes you a better photographer.
Thanks for sharing these
Michael.

No Jim, I don't.....4 children over the years managed to lose several pieces and it has been in the dustbin of history for a long while.....
