Hi, a total newbie here. I knew nothing about photography until I picked up a book 2 weeks ago
I got myself a Nikon D3000 with the kit lens on Friday and have been having loads of fun with it in automatic mode. I decided today that I would only shoot in manual mode. My understanding of settings is still very minimal, but I think I did ok. All of my shots were overexposed. It was a very overcast day here, and I thought I should shoot with my highest aperature and a lower shutter speed, but that didn't work out well. I adjusted the colors only slightly in Flickr (my understanding of photo editing is completely nil, soooo). Here were my favs for the day. Would love any feedback! Thanks![]() exposure 1/20 aperture 5.6 iso 1600 no flash ![]() exposure 1/60 aperture 3.5 iso 400 ![]() exposure 1/60 aperture 5.6 iso 400 Thanks for looking!
