Default Challenging light conditions....

Bright with clear spells we were told last night so up I got at 6 to catch the sunrise and share it with you guys..... this is what I got as it brightened... they obviously have a differnet idea of what clear and bright is to me ... *sigh*

and this had a 15 second exposure lol!
sooooo.. challenge laid I decided to get a couple from nearby the lake I saw a red door

and decided to go to town on the PP work on some small cascades

oh and to round it off I toppled into the stream too so got soaked but thankfully held the camera aloft ! A passing sheep gave me the most disdainful "what on earth are you doing ?" look ... anyways hope you enjoy

Nice colors in the first two. The sunrise shot feels so ethereal and dreamy. And I really like the look of the third photo - it is so shiny, almost metallic looking.

Should have got a shot of the sheep :P

The third one is nice. Hopefully the next time you get up early the forecast is actually right!

Thank you ! The Third on surprised me I thought it too dark after doing a lens vignete on it so used the dodge tool and this was the result ...

But a perfect day for shooting waterfalls, love that last shot and just proves sheep are smarter than most people give them credit for. Glad you didn't hurt your camera.

One may have been a challenge, but 2,3,4 are great photos. TFS

Good job on keeping your priorities straight and risking life and limb for your camera. all of these are excellent, but the red door is my favorite. I like the pop of the color and the aged texture of the door and the stones.

Very nice set FoG... the story reminds me of a letter I heard of one time. Apparently, someone wrote to the weather man at a local TV station thanking him for the 2 1/2 feet of partly cloudy he shoveled off his front porch... ... seriously good pics buddy...
