I just love Jacarandas KGB - it's Jacaranda time here in Sydney at the moment too. I've been meaning to get out to capture their purple splendour for the last couple of days, but they really need a blue sky to do them justice.

There is apparently a white jacaranda in our Botanic Gardens - you've just inspired me to go on the hunt for it. Thanks KGB!

I first saw Jacaranda trees in Brisbane and instantly fell in love with their soft purple colour. I like the first shots of each set. That beetle is BIG I wouldn't like to get in the way of those clippers. TFS

KGB, hi friend....well I love trees, Pretoria and purple so you've certainly got some winners here in my opinion. I really love the perspective on the second shot...and in your second set, I love the fourth shot.
BTW, per the rules, you're only supposed to post four shots in a post and only one post in 24 hours...or until at least two replies...you can read more in the rules, and it's not my job to tell you, but from one friend to another, I thought I'd clue you in.
