Default Wedding in a Pecan Orchard

We went to my Niece's wedding over the weekend. It was held in a pecan orchard on the groom's farm. Casey met Travis while hiking the length of the Appalachian trail alone. Both of them were going to the University of Georgia and majoring in wildlife management. At first Casey didn't like Travis and they went their separate ways. Later, they met again at the halfway point where it is customary to eat a half gallon of ice cream. Casey finished hers, but Travis couldn't finish his. They finished hiking the trail together, and this weekend, 5 years later, they were married.

I was not the official photographer, but I took my camera along and got some candid shots.

Check out the groom's father....gotta be a fellow DPSer!

Co-officiating at the ceremony was the groom's sister and Reebok the dog.

I love the beautiful simplicity of this wedding and the informality of the animals wandering around and watching!

Whilst it's great to get out of a dark church when shooting weddings, shooting weddings outdoors in bright sunshine brings it's own problems - you've done a great job on the exposure of the dress in the last shot

What a wonderful setting for a wedding for two nature lovers. I love that the animals were attending the wedding. You did well capturing it. My congratulations to the bride and groom.
