Default My First Day With D90 and 1600 ISO Test Shots

So I got my d90 on Saturday and went out shooting welll my friend turned my iso up too 1600 when I wasn't looking and I shot half the day like that and never noticed lol so I ran with it the rest of the day.

I've also been learning photoshop so for this one I cut out the leaves, board and kid from the original photo and put a dirty layer between them and the original wall, other then that just minor photo corrections. This is the only photoshopped photo

shot threw the alien bees abr800 ringflash and there is a sb600 behind him hitting the wall but it was a little off center , we were trying to get to the bars lol.

Very nice, especially the first and last. I've had a D90 for about a year, and the flexibility to shoot at a fairly high ISO is a wonderful thing. I hope you enjoy your D90.

Great shots. You're obviously much more of a whizz at PS than me! I'm experiencing a very slow learning curve, I can't do anything as cool as what you did with your first shot - great work.

Yeah I love the d90 so far, I havn't put it down lol, It took me months to decide between a
d90 or a d300 and I was pretty relieved to find out how much fun this camera is.

Thanks I actually just started learning how to do actual photoshop stuff this weekend, the first photo in my post here is my 4th finished photoshop other then just the typical touch up stuff like sharpening clarity ect... Check your inbox I sent you some links that really helped me.

not only that, but you were thinking ahead enough to cast their shadows....to me, that''s half the battle.....not only how to......but, how to make it feel more real.....
