Default For Beachcomber...a beach landscape and portraits

Steve a.k.a. "beachcomber" has inspired me with his amazing shoreline photography to take my portraits to another level and try a shoot at a beach. I had to drive almost an hour to get here, but I think it was worth it (the clients live very close to this location). I struggled with getting the right exposures, but I think I did okay! So, here are a couple of portraits of mom and daughter, and one landscape.

Beach, I hope I've made you proud....although they're not nearly as amazing as yours...but I'm trying!

Thank you as always for looking.

After posting, I see I need to straighten the horizon a bit.

Susan....Sorry to jump here as the first one to comment, but I'm sure Steve would be very proud. You nailed every aspect you had control over: exposure, composition, bokeh, you name it. Well done.

I'm sure Mom and daughter are very happy with the results! Did you have a flash...or a light box?

Thanks for sharing.

These are wonderful shots of mum and daughter. You did very well with the location and I'm sure they will be happy with the results. I like the perspective of the beach scene. TFS

Thanks so much, everyone! What wonderful comments to wake up to!

Equilution - I used my speedlite for fill flash on the portraits.

Lovely set dedicated to one of the nicest users here .... truly inspirational shots he consistantly takes prove the eye is something that only a few have ... his eye for detail in a mundane yet sublime understanding of compostion turn something we normal guys would walk by into a piece of art.

Nice portriats in this I am useless for these I have to say lol takes me ten ins shooting just to get the exposure right lol
