Default Just a few birds

I've been after these shots for several weeks, but they seem to only use this perch during rainy days. Hard to get to this area, but the landowner representative actually had employees cut me a path through the jungle so I could get some shots. This week I am printing the best ones to give them as thanks. Here are two versions I have processed so far.

Osprey A
Osprey I

Osprey B
Osprey II

These are such awesome shots, well worth the trouble of capturing them.

Thanks Michael, I'd like them a little clearer, but there are reeds I had to shoot through and it is hard to get the complete bird clear of the reeds. After he flew away I cleared a little bigger lane so maybe next time they will be better.

Thank you Michael, I've certainly spent a lot of time to get these shots but were worth it for me.

Even before I saw Michael's (Chewys Dad) post the word "Majestic" came to my mind. Stunning creatures. Stunning shots. I am envious. Thanks for these. PAUL

I've always thought that ospreys are beautiful birds. Nice and sharp photos (espcially "A"), in bad conditions. Well done, Fred.

You need to edit your thread title .. I'd suggest " A pair of stunning shots of a majestic raptor" but you may want to tame it down so you're not boasting .. Laughing .. these are stunning!

Thanks Preacherman, they are wonderful creatures to behold, when I have the time I spend hours just watching them.

Thanks Chip, I only see these guys land on this submerged tree when it is raining. For several weeks I couldn't reach the area until I just happened to meet the supervisor of the area. He had a mowing crew hand cut a trail so I could get in close. Now I glass the area from a distance and if something is there then try to stalk them.

Thanks JR, sometimes I feel hesitant to share my shots here at DPS mainly because this is all I ever shoot and figure everyone gets tired of seeing them. So I just gave it a bad title and figured the ones that like will look and the rest will skip it.
