Default Black and White experiment

I wanted to do some stuff in b&w so headed to an abandoned railway station near my home. these are my favourite efforts:

hi
i always look at b/w threads its the medium i love so i had to check yours out. Lucky you having an abandoned railway st, is this nr Milton Keynes??. Nice bit of perpective going with the first as we can get some great ones with tracks.I love the second of the track support and key.Simple objects made interesting.
great experiment any post editing done?? what camera etc etc

Thanks for the feedback.
Yeah its Swanbourne station just outside of MK. Apparently its a part of what used to be called the Varsity line running between Oxford and Cambridge. Now its a public footpath and Bridleway.
These are all direct out of the camera (A Sony Alpha 230) with no PP (mainly because I'm not very good at it).
