Default Carolina color

Yes, I'm missing summer and thought I'd share a few shots from Wrightsville Beach in North Carolina.

Nice shots, M! I like how the sky mimics the siding in the first one. Cool fishing net too! Nice color and bokeh on the macro too! I don't think I've seen a shot from you where the compostion wasn't spot on!! Well done.

Nice shots Martha. I really like the last one. Thought I would see some of those Fall Color Shots of Connecticut by now.

I'm saving those for an attempt at HDR

Martha, Wrightsville Beach is a great location, and I like all three images although my favourite is the first picture, the green of the tree and the leaves against the blue of the building and sky, lovely result

Martha, great set of pictures. All very colorful and as commented before the compositon of all 3 are exceptional. They do look warm also:>

Thank you - I was trespassing in someone's yard, but I had to get that hibiscus!

I'm glad you like them - I was pretty pleased with myself for the first shot. It was completely intentional to use the palm tree to hid the dividing line between house and sky. And is that Carolina blue, or what!

Thank you - that was the second time I took that shot. I photographed it the day before, came home and wasn't completely happy with it, but I liked it so I went back and reshot it the second day.
